| Jerimiah walked into the graveyard and looked around. He was going to visit the grave of his parents, the ones that he'd lost at the age of seven. He swallowed as a cold breeze swept across his arms. He could already feel the memories coming to him. They were so vivid, like he was reliving it all over again. But he knew it was just his memories, nothing more, nothing less, and hopefully it would always be themselves. He remembered that he was sitting on the couch reading a book like he did every night. His mother was in the kitchen, her blue eyes were bright and her light brown hair was tied back in a long ponytail behind her back. She'd been cooking Wednesday nights dinner. It was fish and rice. He'd always enjoyed her cooking. His father was sitting at a table under a reading light, he was going over something that Jerimiah wasn't quite sure about. He could see his dad's black eyes scanning quickly and his red hair was lightly spiked moving with the fan's wind. It had been raining outside, but even so everything seemed perfect, then it happened.
His mother Julie was about to take out some plates when she suddenly stopped. She seemed tense and Jerimiah turned to her. "Mother, what's wrong," he'd asked as he started to walk towards her. Suddenly his father was up from his chair. "Jerimiah, get back!" It was too late, an explosion sounded and the kitchen wall was blown apart. Jerimiah could see his mother on the other side of the room. She was badly injured, but was getting to her feet. Jerimiah stood up, the debre was spreading throughout the house, but he could see something moving forward. It was a on all fours and much larger than a dog. "What is that" he remembered whispering as the creature finally came into view. It's grey fur was standing on end and it's yellow eyes were dangerous.
Then he heard a voice says, "Julie take Jerimiah." Suddenly his mother was standing by him, but were was his father! "Mom, where's dad?" His mother never answer as she grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him away. In the distance Jerimiah could see three other figures surrounding the creature and then a howl. It was dead. Jerimiah could feel the tear coming down his face and as his mother pushed him on he couldn't help but get the feeling the creature had been his father. As they pushed on they were soon confronted. His mother stopped and pushed him behind her. "Run Jerimiah, and remember me and your father have always loved you." She then through herself into the midst of battle.
Jerimiah remembered himself running through the forest away from everyone. He never stopped, even when he heard his mother cry out. When he did finally stop he was exhuasted. The rain was pouring down, but in the distance he could see flames. They were coming from his house. That had been the end of his life.Jerimiah closed his eyes shut tight and then opened them. The memory was gone. He continued to walk until he got to two graves that were side by side. One read in loving memory of Kuran Cross and the other in loving memory of Julie Cross. Jerimiah sighed and bent down so that he could touch the gravestones. They were cold. He dropped his hand. "I never you what you were until I was older, you kept it a secret to protect me, thank you." With that he stood and started to walk away when he heard the sound of rining bells. He turned and saw golden bells that were ringing on the graves of Kuran and Julie. "Who's there?" _________________ When there is a problem, Do not run from it, Embrace it, And new paths will show before you.

| (Okay Jer, I know for a fact that I can't top that post, but I'll atleast give you something to post to.) Bat had been at the Akatsuki Hideout all day and he felt as if it were time he did a little of exploring. There were people he hadn't seen in a while and wondered if he'd mistakeningly wonder across them. People like Kazuya Auren, the Hybrid who seemed so intent to find Kaz and the woman who was like his mother. Bat shrugged as he stood from the chair and headed out the door. He wondered if the boy had ever found those people, if so, what had he done, and how did it turn out? As he exited the building his turned his head from the light that was fading into the afternoon and would soon be replaced by the moon. He gave a small sigh. The moon was a magnificent thing in his eyes. Whethere it was in its lunar phase or cresent phase, or even full as a plump pumpkin. It was still. As the time moved on Bat picked up the scent of something he'd once encountered before, but this was not the same in a starnge way. It was Hybrid, but not the Estarz he'd met some time ago. This scent was new. Bat walked causally along the graves and laid a golden bell on each one until he came across the ones taht read Kuran and Julie Cross. As the boy called out who's there Bat grinned like the devil himself. "Bat." _________________ Reality sucks, get over it.

| Jerimiah felt hismelf freeze as he saw a kid appear infront of him nect to his parents grave. This was starnge though, for the first time in all his life Jerimiah felt like he was on the defensive. He gave a low growl that he felt was all too unexpected. He didn't understand why he felt like this, but something wasn't right about this kid. It was as if he wasn't a kid at all, but something that took on the shape of a child. Jerimiah swallowed as he caught the glistening moonlight on all the bells. How long had this boy been here? "Bat is your name," Jerimiah spoke with a feeling in his gut that made him want to let go off his fear and change into a wolf. He looked up at the moon. That was it, no wonder he was feeling the way he was. He looked back at the kid. "Who are you," he asked. "Not your name, but...but....what are you." Jerimiah could feel himself spinning, but it was just an illusion. An illusion that he'd learn to control to an extent, but still, this guy made him uneasy. _________________ When there is a problem, Do not run from it, Embrace it, And new paths will show before you.

| Bat knew from the start that he had the upper hand. But to his disappointment this guy was not like Kazuya. He was struggling with control and Bat wouldn't be able to persuade him as easily as he wanted to, atleast not in this state. Bat gave a grin. "Yes, I'm an Akatsuki, a Demon, and something far greater than your simple little mind can comprehend," he said laughing with his bone chilling laugh. "But if you must, I'll give you a dimistration." He looked at the bells on Kuran and Julie's graves. "Silence," he whispered as he tapped the bells and sound waves like dog whistles started to ring and as each bells waved moved others started up form around the graveyard. "Enjoy," Bat said with a glistening evil in his eye. _________________ Reality sucks, get over it.

| Jerimiah swallowed. He was getting a bit nervous. He took a step back as Bat said Demon. Never in his life had he met a demon and he wasn't really sure if he wanted to continue being here with this child who had much more to him than he was letting off. Jerimiah took another step back as he Bat offered a demonstartion. Jerimiah tensed. He wasn't sure if he wanted a demonstartion, but obviously a say so wasn't an option as Bat hit a bell. The instant Jerimiah had sound wave hit him he collasped and put his hands to his head resisting a scream. The waves were like dog whistles. Atleast a hundred of them going off at once. Sweat started to form on him and he felt himself changing. "What is this," he asked trying to drown out the golden ringing bells. This is too much, I can't keep control, if I change now then it'll be all over. Jerimiah started to rise to his feet again but something snapped. What was that? Slowly Jerimiah was becoming calm again and then he was still. Visions of blood covered his vision and there stood his wolf side, but it was different from before. It's eyes weren't cold and it wasn't speaking. It was quiet and distant. Fading until nothing was left. Am I dying? Jerimiah asked in his illusion. The answer never came but when he blinked he was face to face with his himself. Except this person infront of him hag fangs, not wolf fangs but vampire fangs, and his eyes were still red, yet they held something that Jerimiah couldn't understand. "To fear this side, is to fear yourself. Life hasn't stopped yet, and this isn't the end," his other side said. "Forgive and be forgiven." Then it was gone and Jerimiah was back with Bat. He felt different, but calm, like he was floating, but he wasn't. "Bat...what an interesting name," he said. "What excatly did you expect me to do," Jerimiah asked. He was very well consious of what was happening, though it was like he was looking through the eyes of someone else. _________________ When there is a problem, Do not run from it, Embrace it, And new paths will show before you.

| (Hole smokes Jerimiah, that was awsome. Complete change of character there. Too bad I'm gonna kick your butt all over this graveyard.) Bat eyes narrowed as Jerimiah collasped. Th bells had worked like a charm but his satisfication didn't last long. As Jerimiah rose again there was something different about him. Bat noticed the fangs. "What a bother, I've accidently awaken your vampire side, my mistake," he said. He pulled out his sword Nightshade. "I'll kill you before you can actually do anything," he said taking a dangerous step forward. "You think you're bold, you'll be cowering at my mercy before this night is over with. Nightshade, awaken, I've found a soul that you can devour." A black shadow former around Jerimiah. "Say goodnight." _________________ Reality sucks, get over it.

| Jerimiah looked at Bat as he spoke. "Nightshade, also an interesting name." Jerimiah then let his wings come out to defend himself from the attack. As the shadows wrapped around him he gave a small sigh. "You're very direct aren't you," he said as he spread his wings out to break the shadows but they were stronger than he predicted. "Very direct I see." Jerimiah flinched slightly. The grip was becoming tighter, almost sufficating him. He closed his eyes. He could barely move and he was loosing the part of him that was keeping him consious. Breath Jerimiah, this is just the beginning. I'll let you know when your time is almost near. With this Jerimiah relaxed. A spark started on the shadows until they were engulfed in flames. "I told you, what did you expect." _________________ When there is a problem, Do not run from it, Embrace it, And new paths will show before you.

| Bat eyes flashed a bit irritated. This was the first person to break free of his grasp, especially when he was intistionally trying to kill a person. "You're persistant," Bat said as he slashed his blade in a Arc. "I hate persistant people, why won' you just die!" Bat gave a small cackle as hundreds of shadows swept towards Jerimiah. "You'll die here tonight boy, you stand no chance against me! The moment you thought so was the moment you dug your own grave." Bat's voice was older now, he was shwoing his true side. _________________ Reality sucks, get over it.
