Jerimiah looked as Kazuya as he began to change, but he hadn't made it to his full wolf form. It looked like he was half. There was yet another stage completed by the Hybrid Leader. Jerimiah gave a sigh and watched everything happen. Wasn't much he could do, but watch anyhow. As Kazuya approached the girl and slammed her against the tree he sat silent. He wondered if Kazuya had control over himself, to kill this girl would be bad. Killing any hunter would be bad. Life was such a double standard. If they killed hunters then they got hunted down and killed, but when hunters killed them it was okay.

By the time Jerimiah had got done pondering over double standards Kitsra was running for dear life. Jerimiah gave a small sigh of relief and started to pull the bullets from his side and arm. Lead hurt, but it could have been worse. He looked up at Kazuya. He owed him an apology and more than anything his life. If he did tell Kazuya that he already knew what he'd have to do, but it didn't matter. He stood up and flinched. He hadn't healed yet, and possibly wouldn't for a while.

He walked over to Kazuya, each step made him press agaisnt his wound. "Thank you," he said to Kazuya. "I owe you my life," he said quietly. He bowed his head so that he was looking at the ground. "I'm sorry that you got injured because of me." Jerimiah hadn't really apologized to anyone before because he had mostly avoided everyone, but Kazuya had done alot for him these past couple of days and they'd just met.

Kazuya sighed when he saw Kitsra start to run. He flinched slightly as he leaned against the tree and slid down so that he was sitting against it. His eyes, nails, and teeth went back to normal as Kazuya held his side. At the moment, Kazuya couldn't even feel the wound in his chest. He'd forgotten it was even there. Looking up at Jerimiah as he spoke, Kazuya shook his head before could even finish what he was saying. "Don't thank me. I mean it. It's my job to protect any hybrid I come across..." he said after Jerimiah had finished speaking. Kazuya looked up at him. "I was made to fight. I found something to fight for. End of story." Kazuya looked off to the side. "Now sit down and take it easy before you pass out from losing too much blood." At this point, that's about how Kazuya was feeling. He could feel his exhaustion coming back to him, and paired with the pain of his wounds, maybe he was ready to pass out himself.

Jerimiah fell silent as Kazuya told him not to thank him. If that's what he wanted, then so be it. Jerimiah turned his head to the side and looked up to the sky. It was a decent day, too bad a fight had destroyed it. Now the only thing left was teh scent of blood that suprising had no effect on him and the lingering battle on the air. He then looked at Kazuya after he said 'end of story.' "Okay," Jerimiah said.

Jerimiah then looked at Kazuy as he told him to sit down and that he did without any hesistation. As he sat down he got in a comfortable position and went quiet. "Um, Kazuya....I'm sorry I bit you," he said even though he knew Kazuya would possibly jsut yell at him about apologizing. "Also....I'd like to try and get some control again, if that's okay with you?"

Kazuya sighed and looked at Jerimiah. "You couldn't control yourself, don't apologize." Kazuya nodded as Jerimiah said he wanted to learn how to control himself. "Alright, but if you try to bail on your first attempt again, I'll beat the crap out of you and make you stay, got it?" Kazuya said with a half smile. Kazuya looked down. But this time....I won't bring Kai.... Kazuya flinched as he pulled the bullet from his side. He'd have to get someone else to take the bullet from his chest. Taking it out himself would be way too risky.

Jerimiah agve a small nod of his head. "Thank you," he said in response to Kazuya giving him a second chance. He really did want to learn how to control himself, but still, could he handle the stress and the strain it took. Would he let that peace overcome him againa nd turn on his only friend? the question remained a mystery for now, but Jerimiah had the feeling it wouldn't be that way for long.

He then looked at Kazuya as he flinched after taking out a bullet. It looked bad. Jerimiah then slwoly turned to himself. He'd forgotten all about his own bullets. It'd be best to take them out before he lost too much blood. He reached up to his shoulder and pulled the first one out. The bullet fell into the soft dirt and Jerimiah gave a light sigh. That was much better than, but the one in his side would be wrose. He'd need bandages for this, he looked at Kazuya, so would he.

Jerimiah swallowed lightly and then rubbed his shoulder. He didn't want to rip his shirt so he could stop the bleeding. He glanced down the road and then looked farther and farther until he could see a blue light. "Huh?" Jerimiah shook his head. His eye sight was getting better, that meant his wolf side was getting better to. He gave a smile. "Um, Kazuya, maybe we should make a trip to the hospital," he said. "So we can get fixed up." He then closed his eyes and waited for the answer, because he wasn't sure what it would be.

Kazuya gave a light smile. "Don't mention it." Looking around the forest a few seconds, he brought his gaze back to Jerimiah and gave a curt nod. "Yeah," he said, holding his side slightly. "I'm not much of a medic, so that'd be a good idea," he said with a small laugh. Getting up slowly, Kazuya looked at Jerimiah. "How many times were you hit...?" Kazuya asked, his voice somewhat quieter. He felt ashamed that he could've let something like this happen. Whether he knew it or not, Kazuya held an undying grudge against hunters, even before this had happened.

Jerimiah opened his eyes as Kazuya spoke. "Two as far as I know," he said. He then started to get up to his feet. Quite a struggle, but he managaed it in the end. Jerimiah had never been shot at before so this was a first. He wasn't sure about Kazuya though, still he had other things he needed to speak to him about. Tings like apologizing to Kai if Kazuya would allow it. He felt that he'd left thinsg in a bad way, and that he needed to make amends.

Slowly he dusted himself careful not to touch his wound. It already hurt beyond reason and he could only imagine how Kazuya felt since he'd had a one go directly into his chest. He closed his eyes for a moment a let out a small breath. He wondered if Kazuya knew anything about their vampire side, because he surely didn't. Not until a few days ago atleast....

Kazuya looked down. When they got to the hospital, he'd make sure that Jerimiah was first to get taken care of. He shouldn't have gotten shot in the first place.... Kazuya couldn't help but think that if he'd only came sooner.... He kept the guilt from his eyes as they walked. Kazuya yawned. It'd been several days since he'd had a full night's sleep and it was finally catching up to him.
