Kazuya nodded. "Yeah, you're telling me." Kazuya's face turned a little red. "Hey, listen, those shots were the only thing she got on me! I may be fast, but I'm not fast enough to dodge a bullet." Kazuya flinched a little as she cleaned the wound on his side and looked at her. "Well, for one thing, he's terrified of changing into a wolf. That's why he's having such a hard time. Not to mention, he's had a pretty terrifying past," he said, shaking his head a little. Kazuya didn't even seem to notice when Jaymaru pulled the bullet out of his chest, so he looked a little shocked when she said that she was done. Taking the pain killers, he put his hand where the wound was, and felt bandages. "Thanks Jay." Tossing the small bottle in the air and catching it, he said "The pain hasn't really been that bad. Aside from the occasional twinge in my side, I don't feel a thing. My chest has been pretty much numb ever since I got shot," he said with a shrug.

Tossing the bottle up higher this time, Kazuya waited several seconds for it to come back down, but when it didn't he looked up at a tree that was above him to see a bird holding the bottle in it's beak. Only a second later, the bird let go of the bottle and it dropped on Kazuya's head. Kazuya blinked and after a second picked up a rock and threw it at the bird, intentionally missing it by inches. But the rock served its purpose and the bird flew away. Itching the top of his head a little, he said "Damned birds...." under his breath. Sighing, Kazuya slipped his shirt back on, hoping to avoid Jay seeing the bite wound on his arm.

Jay stood back and looked at the bird as it dropped the bottle. "Very nice," she said with a smile as she sat back. She then blinked and shook her head. "I don't see why he just doesn't face what he is. I mean, alot of us have got bad past, but that's stop us." She hsook her head and glanced at his arm. "How'd that happen?"

Kazuya looked at Jay and shook his head. "Not everyone is that brave Jay." Glancing at his arm, he covered it up quickly. "It doesn't matter. It's fine," he said, looking off to the side.

(Like I said before, not that easily.)

Jay shook her head and decided she'd drop the conversation about Jerimiah for now, she was more concerned about Kazuya's arm. "It is something," she said resisting the urge to grab his arm and check it out for herself. "What happened?" She asked again.

Kazuya looked at Jay. "It's nothing, Jay. Listen, thanks for taking care of all my serious wounds, but this isn't something you need to worry about."

Jay sighed. "Why are you so freaking stubborning," she asked. "I just want to make sure it's not infected, I'm not going to tease you about getting cut up like a tomato or anything," she said with a small sigh. "But hey, that's up to you."

Kazuya looked at Jay. "I'm not worried about you teasing me. I'm more worried about telling you how I got it Jay. I still only know you personality as Ginger. And knowing that, I'm....afraid you'd go after that person," he said, saying 'afraid' with a bit of troubl. He hated saying he was scared of anything. It just didn't suit him. But the truth was, he was scared for Jerimiah. Kazuya didn't think he'd be able to forgive himself if a hunter found him while he wasn't around. "If I show you it, promise me you won't try to go after them," he said sternly. He trusted her word, but he had to take all measures to make sure his hybrids were safe.

Jaymaru gave a sigh. "So it wasn't the hunter," she said catching on to what he was saying, but still a bit off because she had no idea who this person who'd injured Kazuya was. Maybe it was someone he wanted to get back himself, or even a friend was her first guess. She gave a small sigh and shrugged. "Kazuya, if a friend did this to you then I wont harm them," she said. "I just want to make sure you're okay, I don't care who the other pseron is." She then sat back and looked at the sky. Kazuya sure did know how to cover up things, he'd made sure that he didn't speak whether the person was male or female. Maybe it wasn't intention. She shrugged. She didn't care, that was his business afterall.

Kazuya shook his head. "No, it wasn't the hunter." Kazuya looked at her for a few seconds before he pulled his sleeve back to reveal a somewhat large bitemark on his lower arm. "It shouldn't be infected," he said with a shrug. "I've been taking decent care of it. But then again, I'm no medic." He trusted her, and if she said that she wouldn't go after him, then Kazuya believed her. Not to mention, he'd taken care not to reveal who it was that'd injured him to begin with.

Jaymaru looked at the wound. It was awfully large and it looked like a bit wound. Who in their right mind would bite anyone. She gave a sigh, she wasn't quite sure, but all she was worried about was making sure it was okay. It seemed fine so sha backed away. "All good," she said kindly and dropped the subject. She didn't feel like talking about it anymore. "So, you said you're a hyrbid, and so is Jerimiah, but you never answer me who was the other."

Kazuya nodded and pulled his sleeve back down to cover his arm back up. Kazuya looked at Jaymaru with a small smile. "Remember that little girl Kai I always used to tell you about? Well, she's the other hybrid." It had never struck him before now that he hadn't ever told her that Kai was a hybrid. Perhaps he was unconsciously trying to protect Kai...?

Jaymaru fell silent at the mention of Kai. Her eyes started to water and she nearly started to cry, but instead she wiped her eyes and looked at Kazuya. "You know, that's my granddaughter right," she said with a small smile. "I haven't seen her since she was first born," Jaymaru said. "How is she?"

Kazuya blinked a few times before what she'd said had finally struck him. A look of shock crossed his face. "Kai's your granddaughter?!" Kazuya shook his head. "Uhh, she's...she's doing really well," he said, trying to shake off the shock from that....extraordinarily shocking revelation. "I...I didn't even think you had any kids," he said, looking at her. Of course, when she was Ginger, she never mentioned it. But then again, if she was trying to keep her cover, why would she?

Jaymaru smiled. "I forgot to tell you about all this. But here let me explain. You see I have two brothers. Rumiko and Okimur, bu Oki died when he was just a kid. The two of them were twins. Rumi has no kids so I have no neices and nefews. I on the other hand have two birth kids and two adopted. My birth kids are Sky and Jay who are also twins. Twins tend to run in the family. My mother was a twin. Anyway Sky died about a year ago. There father is Takashi Yama, my ex-husband. Don't want to go into any detail about him," Jaymaru said with a grin. "Anywho, my aadopted kids are Sukai Altai and Tenkuu. Tenkuu is Kage of the Stealth and a Lightning Ninja, long story though, tell you some other time." She gave a smile. "But the thing is only one of my kids have had children and that's Jay," she said. "Jay married Micah and they ended up with Kai." Jaymaru looked off to the side. "I haven't seen her for a very long time. I didn't think she was going to become a Hybrid, thought she'd get passed over since her mother is a half wolf half human and he father is a half vampire half human."

Kazuya just looked down. She had so much family...He didn't quite understand why she'd have given that all up, regardless of the fact that she'd explained to him why. He blinked and looked at her when she mentioned that Takashi was the father of her kids. "Takashi...? You mean leader of the wolves Takashi?" He'd had a run-in with him once before, and he'd guess that if it hadn't been a truce night, things would've turned out badly. There was no doubt in Kazuya's mind that at that point in time, Takashi wanted to rip him to shreds. "So...Kai's a half Hybrid then..." Kazuya nodded. "I get it. Doesn't matter much though." Truthfully Kazuya thought of Kai as his little sister, so it didn't matter whether she was half Hybrid or demon child of hell. Kazuya looked at Jay with a small smile. "How bout we go see her?"
